Tortino rustico (Rustic pie)

In this case, the rustic pie was prepared with mixed vegetables and minced meat from a leftover hamburger.

INGREDIENTS  SERVINGS: 1

  • 1 hamburger (beef or vegetarian burger)
  • 1 pack of mixed vegetables (as needed)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons of whole milk
  • Grated cheese (as needed)
  • 3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt (as needed)
  • Pepper (as needed)
  • Half onion
  • Paff pastry (for savoury dishes) for a person
  • Half orange

MAIN PREPARATION

  • In a spacious pot, sauté the onion for a minute and combine the vegetables
  • Add the hamburger or the mince and the juice of half orange
  • Add salt and pepper
  • In an ovenproof dish, place the puff pastry, shaping it to fit the dish
  • With a spoon, add the vegetables and the meat previously cooked
  • Add the raw, beaten egg with milk, salt and pepper
  • Place the dish in the oven for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees (depending on the oven)
